A2A 172 ZK-NPJ

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby jankees » Thu Oct 24, 2013 7:07 pm

Bit of a strange situation, I have not bought the 172 (yet), but could not resist trying a paint.
Could any of you kiwi's give ZK-NPJ a try: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nyz6mez0ag9wotw/JK_ZK-NPJ.zip and see if it is OK? Maybe post a screenie?
This contains only the textures, you'll have to make a copy of any of the textures files and edit the aircraft.cfg yourself...

All my repaints for MSFS can be found on flightsim.to
Older repaints for FS9, FSX and P3D are on avsim

Looking good! - pity the Aero Club is now defunct but I think it maybe coming back under a different guise perhaps with this 172

OK, looks good!
I wanted to try something simple, since I haven't bought the model, but the paintkit looked so tempting...
Here's another one along the same lines, OO-VCW: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3aaje4v6ky4vema/JK_OO-VCW.zip

Keep winding, Doug - I want to see if Ian goes "Boeinng!", or if we just hear splintering balsa and a voiceover saying...(altogether now) ARR, BUST! laugh.gif

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Looking good JK cool.gif , very 1980's retro , in in an area were a Cessna 172 disappeared back in 1983 without a trace with the Turner family on board , one off many that disappeared in what is called as New Zealand Bermuda triangle - a region in Westland and in and around Milford Sound .
