A design classic is an industrially manufactured object with timeless aesthetic value. It serves as a standard of its kind and, despite the year in which it was designed, is still up to date.[1] Whether a certain object is or is not a design classic might often be debatable[2] and the term is sometimes abused[3] but there exists a body of acknowledged classics of product designs from the 19th and 20th century.[4] [5] [6] For an object to become a design classic it takes time[3] and what lasting impact the design had on society and what influence on later designs it had plays a large role in determining whether something is a design classic or not. Thus design classics are often strikingly simple, going to the essence, and are described with words like iconic, neat, valuable or having meaning.[3]

Still making all the 737's from 100 to 300 all classics in my opinion. That is all from me .

No argument about it being a design classic Adrian, or your definition of it, its the fact that the aircraft commonly known of as the "Boeing 737 Classics" are the 300-500 series. A separate thread is a good idea winkyy.gif
Gojozoom, love the livery dude. Which model is that for thumbup1.gif

with all the military action happening around here lately it would be silly of me not to let it influence my work.

Air New Zealand Link (Mount Cook Airline) ATR 72-500 cruising above the Central Plateau/Mt Ruapehu at FL240 en route to Wellington from Hamilton.

Uploaded with fsfiles.org this time as photobucket sucks!

Yes It's the Project AI ATR 72-500 and I made it flyable by tweaking the CFG file and adding the sounds and the panel to it's folder.
I was flying it biggrin.gif

Well, you fly ATRs, Dash 8s, Beechcrafts, Boeings and Airbuses (ARBUSTS which Ian calls them laugh.gif)

Not quite three times in a row , but the first and brand new ANZ320 breaks down and has you on the ground for 2.5 hours with a connecting flight .. ARBUST it is

EDIT: Best place to go too plop your screens - fsfiles.org winkyy.gif , best place to upload screens - Its Flight Sim orientated , good on ya !

Zain, if you are looking for a 'proper' model to fly, try this one: isdt_atr_72-600_anz_zk-mva.zip from flightsim.com - much nicer than an AI plane (not judging, just saying)
I just alias a default FSX panel and sound to it, but you could no doubt download replacements for those too.

Cheers

I think folk are trying to be helpful here, dude.
Putting a low-poly AI model into a screenshot contest is not going to win you any prizes.
And being a wise-ass isn't going to improve your chances in the vote, either.
Your internet speed has nothing to do with the subject matter you upload in a screenshot.

+1 - AI models are not the best looking hence the reason they are AI models, If they were too good FPS would be even worse - but keep trying dude winkyy.gif

Well as you people have suggested for proper aircraft, I'll decide whether I will stick with this entry or change it.

However, I still have a good FPS while flying AI aircraft, similar FPS to flying proper aircraft.

An proper ATR aircraft for example the Flight1 ATR 72-500 (payware) or the ISDT ATR 72 models (freeware) is what you people prefer? Or is it just me bugging around?!?!

Well, if you people want me to change my entry just inform me then.

Thanks

ah yea mate, as Charl said it was only a helpful suggestion to enter a screenshot that people will vote for as this is a Screenshot Comp after all ,..and the guys were just trying to give you advice to give you a better run at winning this thing,..isnt that what you entered it for ?,..if you want to handicap yourself by entering an uglyass AI model when there are plenty of other options for good looking freeware ATR's then that is ENTIRELY up to you.

And this Photobucket Sucks thing",..I hear it alot but I have had zero problems with it,..my image above is from photobucket..
