Bumped into an old mate of years back early this week, not much of a flyer but just come back from the UK and flew Emirates 380 , said it was cramped and the service was bad, as i said not much of a flyer he did say the aircraft flew into bad turbulence and was told to stay, i did explain that is what they do - even cabin staff don't move in such conditions .. maybe Mike just had a bad day.

I do like this quote ............ "The A380 control stick has a distinct PC joystick circa-1980′s vibe. We like to think that the designers were trying to appeal to pilots’ childhoods — which were doubtless spent playing Microsoft Flight Simulator. " tongue.gif

Well here comes the Champion of the Other Airliner Company again
(Not sure why, maybe it's because I do enjoy a solid one-eyed argument)

Cattle Class is a little cramped, but more so on the "Queen of the Skies"

I always say no airliner compares with the comforts of home...

Interestingly, in the present battle for the attention of the airliner beancounters, it is Boeing that is proposing the 10-abreast jam-em-in-as-hard-as-they'll-let-you solution.

Strangely again i wonder how many flights actually run fully loaded aircraft from New Zealand - many times i found the aircraft empty but then and again as i said ... as long as i have the window seat i am happy ... people say you cannot see anything at night and to that i say BULLOCKS! , old days they did measure peoples weight , maybe that is what they should be doing again .
