See the Owl fly! Whenever I do I need to say thanks again to Mike Pearson for the wonderful Owl paint he did for me. This whole set might be on the kitschy side, but it just happened that way and I must admit I like it. :smt001

And some other AG-51 Recces over the foggy Rheintal valley and their old home Bremgarten.

Mike Pearson... has waay too much time! laugh.gif
Having said that (and Ian has ribbed me about it) whenever there's a new plane in my sim, it gets a personalised repaint, like "Charl's Jet" or "Charl's Chopper" which allows me to mess with it and not get confused about what tweak I did to which!

This paint was used by the Recce Squadron AG-51 for the 25th anniversary flight. (The link is for the squadron page - in German language, but I have a squadron summary at The Owl's Nest in English).
The paint shows the Bavarian white/blue checkerboard part as a remembrance of the time when they were based in Bavaria before moving to Baden Wuerttemberg. The Owl is the Squadron emblem. Here are some photos of the real thing.

Cheers,
Martin
