Im amazed at the detail that is put into some of these inside textures ....

The early Boeing cockpits are all much the same .... just more or less levers. I could stare at a 707 all day ..... classic.

See the AN-2 in there .. course the engine dynamics .. I'd love to see the PMDG DC-6 startup dynamics .. now this one is one one to wait for !

Yep , AN-2 , U-H60 , F-15 , 727 , 707, Catalina and the Otter.
The DC-6 sounds like it will be great ..... re PMDG, I decided that $90+ for the 777 was a tad steep , so i might look at the Dash 8 .... and then nothing until next month winkyy.gif
Back to the panels we get today .... a few days ago you mentioned "VIP" .... God i can recall them bringing out a panel for a Piper archer that had a bit of cowl showing .... still 2d , but i thought that was just awesome , and it made it (sim) a little more real .
Anyone who has been simming for less than 5-10 years wont appreciate all the changes , and to be fair , theres no way they could , its changeing so fast.

Ahhh ... remember when clouds were blocky , and big downloads would fit on a floppy .... back when no body knew what a megabyte was ..... im glad ive been here to see (and use) the changes.
What will they be doing in 50 years ?

Nice, i always find the cockpits more interesting then the exterior. In fact it is the cockpit that makes me buy different aircraft.

Yah this is great stuff - beat me to the question of what's what?
I would have failed the test unfortunately.

Funny thing I took out Olsson's Viper the other day.
The 2D cockpit has a (very slightly) animated hand on joystick, and it just about doubles the immersion!

With all the immersion of the 3D's showing the best and NZ related would have to be the Catalina giving you the ideal option with an amphibian to bounce around the New Zealand coast line and lakes and with the closes to A2A built in .. fact is that VC would have to be the most honest and easiest for any buddy wantabe real McCoy Dak/Cat pilot , this is what makes these VC's so Special ! cool.gif
