Some shots of the new sim biggrin.gif I have a very stable frame rate in dense cities if Veg and building shadows are off. FTX Global and REX running, no edits except for resizing and cropping.

Looking good. Wondering if you have found any problems so far with your testing - eg some aircraft/scenery not loading as expected?

This is one that I will certainly be keeping an eye on - and will probably give it a try at some stage.

There are a few issues:

Get a black screen every once in a while, cant use fullscreen because of it. ( I know its being fixed)
Terrain shadows render too close to aircraft, you can see them poping
Clickspots dont work properly in windowed mode tongue.gif

These are the ones from just those shots:

Plane was jumping on the deck of the carrier
Cant use volumetric fog and REX at same time yet ( I know its being fixed)

Porting issues:
The F111 afterburner, gunsight and burnoff are all broken
Radar on B52 causes CTD if turned on

Least ya went for the MOTHERS of the Bombers .. well two off them cool.gif ... now we are seeing our faves in the blend .. The B-52 is relegated to low level strikes ... How's Wellingtons hive of dipsticks do for a target .. bring in the F-111 on secondary in the case a knob got the backdoor KEYS ninja.gif ... Show a Little terrain detail and the mess you have made

None of those sound like deal breakers for me, and I've also noticed that the academic versions watermark is most unobtrusive - are old people allowed to get the academic version I wonder?? Seeing as how I've nver had pilot training then in theory I'm an undergraduate in that field - is that how this works or does any graduate qualification negate this?

Maybe my Chrissy prezzy , be interesting to see what or how you develop onto P3D .. if it can have ORBX plopped onto it - can't be to hard to place ... say example our NZFF teams Christchurch ?
