Installing FSX -

The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Postby Pato » Thu Jan 09, 2014 3:40 pm

I have been away from FS for some years and am going to start again. I have FSX (deluxe edition) ready to install on Windows 7.
In the past I have had my computer partitiioned, but this one has a 1TB HDD and is not partitioned. After I have installed FSX, what other programs do I need to install, and in what order please?.
Should I have a Folder for flight simulator programs?. If you have a similar installation I would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

I have a 1TB HDD and used the win7 partition manager to make X:\SIM directory for FSX, very clean, no messing about with 32/64 bit program files in C:\

Trademe always has copies - although not as cheap as Doug's find

Thanks for the suggestions. It might be just as easy to install SP1 and SP2 to get me going again.
