ZK-MAN in Emergency Landing Nelson

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Just happened to be at the airport when this happened - he landed very smoothly and as soon as he rolled to a stop he switched number 1 off - which tells me he must have had an issue with the main gear on that side?

Thinking about it , we never had so many aviation hi-cups or least to say since cellphone cameras and internet media, these would have been as common as heck twenty/thirty and more plus years ago so most are really a build on common tech comm grounds we did not have those many years ago ..... and think about it ..... the aircraft are far more reliable today so start counting the un-reported of the past ... be interesting to get the stats on those .

Agree plus ..... its normally about now a herc comes back from the ice with only 3 turning, and the media are all over it like a rash (uninformed gits)
As you said Dash " just a day in the life of a pilot " its what they do (bless them)
