FSX Weather Engine

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Hi guys!
I'm wondering if anyone knows of an outstanding weather engine to use with FSX other than REX. I use REX4 textures and would like a 3rd party weather engine that has a decent amount of tweakability, problem for me is that my Flight Sim PC doesn't have a permanent connection to the internet so i cannot use real weather. Any ideas?
Thanks smile.gif

Active Sky Next is newly released and is supposed to be good, - I think you can pretty much configure it yourself without the internet (though can't be sure). There's a free trial version available so you can't really go wrong.

I read on a forum that it's really good around mountains, with updrafts and downdrafts etc, in addition to all the other tweaks you can do.

I don't use FSX since getting P3D2 but as soon as they release a P3D2 compatible version I'm going to get it, - can't wait! smile.gif
