Agree, the white looks quite plain and boring. Although the red was "Virgin Blue" and the white is "Virgin Australia".

The stand out feature was this livery .. I personal do think they should have stuck to it ... it sticks out ... my old joke " We gotta catch that red plane there at that gate - Now gone to the White like everyone else .. it we gotta catch that white plan at at at ..hmm what flight are we on now "

By the way Ian, I prefer both paint schemes, the old red virgin paint and the new white virgin scheme.
