Carenado B1900D VS Aerosoft Airbus X Extended

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby zk2704 » Fri Feb 07, 2014 11:15 pm

Hi guys

I am having a bit of a conflict in my mind of what shall I buy using the $50 coupon from PCAviator.com.au if I win this month's screenshot competition.

Suggest what you think is better so I can choose it at the end of the competition and if I win the competition.

Thanks
Zain.

Could you handle the speed of the B1900D? That's the only thing stopping me at the moment, whereever I'd want to go takes a bit longer than hopping in the (in my case) NGX

I don't see much chance of wining it with that IRIS VC in the shot. blink.gif
You should swap the IRIS for Dino's model (as Raeolo suggested) though and see how you go.

Re the Poll if you do win winkyy.gif I'd go for the B1900

I only have the 1900D but they both appear to be equally excellent products, so it depends on the type of flying you prefer. The 1900D can obviously service the smaller fields and is less automated, as well as slower, while the Airbus product I know gives a great jetliner captain experience that can cover longer distances in a short time.
I'm partial to regional turboprops myself, which is why I went with the 1900D, but they're really difficult to compare.

Tough call. If you are partial to jets, then the Airbus... If you like the turboprops, the B1900D. Or to really solve the problem, just buy both and pay the difference owing smile.gif - See, problem solved! tongue.gif

Great idea Dean, is it to buy both of these and just pay the difference pricing between them using the $50 coupon, I like both Jet Airliners and Turboprop Airliners.

Note to all, this poll is open until the end of this month's screenshot competition on March 1st when I request the admin to close this thread.

Zain.

However Adrian, The price of both of those aircraft could total more than $50 using that coupon from winning this month's screenie comp which may cause spending problems that I have to spend extra money on, so I can choose one of these or if they cost less than $50 for both of them in total, I can get both of them.

I think deciding which product you would want is the least of your worries...

Just a personal opinion: This topic strikes me as a bit arrogant (maybe that's not the most precise word to use, but I'm at a loss right now), and I am unsure if starting a lengthy debate on what to do with your supposed forthcoming prize money will serve you well when it comes time to vote on the shots. I would have found it to be more appropriate to ask this question after a victory when you actually have earned the prize and need to make a decision. It's not like you're rushed to do so.
