More goodies Marty, good dynamic shots. But what's this topic 'Just a Spit'? The Spit is so much more than that. It's the essence of my flying dreams back from the days of those BW war comics (small A5 size if you are old enough to remember them). Even Biggles would have given his portside bollock to fly in one of those if he had been given the opportunity in those WWI fiction books I read from an early age.

It's one of the few aircraft when I take it for a flight in the simpit that makes me feel that I'm really in the cockpit and am one with the aircraft. Though, to be fair, it could be the whiskey and my imagination causing that.... and maybe all the other aircraft are just as good.

Nah, did I say that? How could I?

I did see a war comic that moved away from the Spitfire .. I must source a bookshop that sells these .. is under the old War Library/Commando but in the ME or Vietnam , should have thought of asking were you get the comic from these days.
