More Duke

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

It's not often that I feel the urge to upload screenshots from flightsim, however thanks to a drizzly easterly keeping us grounded in Northland at the moment, I've really been enjoying the Real Air Duke V2 on the computer.

The quality of the VC is the best I've come across to date, the performance for a piston twin is awesome and it looks good from every angle:

Extra points if anyone can figure out the South Island airfield I was on the approach for!

I guess no one here has ever tuned up 254 on the ADF to fly the NDB Alpha at Ashburton then! winkyy.gif
If you squint, you can just about make out TU - > AS on the GPS in the panel screenshot too.

Yes... Agree. I am also tempted. Needs ZK reg though, although iirc the only Duke in ATM is a US registered one?i saw one at Ardmore about a year ago.

That would be N60TE, although I havn't seen it outside Flightline for a while now. According to the FAA registry, that particular N number has been cancelled?

No worries smile.gif He's doing a number on me now with the Flight 1 B200. Problem is he makes it look so damn complicated, and something that complex with a G1000 that good that doesn't even make a nod to vnav has put me off - he's following Yoda's tutorial, I think in the next part we'll get a descent and if he handles that ok my credit card had better assume the brace position ...
