Hi,

It has been more than a month since my last visit. Business life is painfully demanding currently, and I did not start my FlightSim in weeks. At the same time many cool things happened in the military AI scene. You will see the newly arrived aircraft below plus some shots that I always wanted to make.

John Young's Armstrong Whitworth AW.660 Argosy

Mike Pearson's Tupolev Tu-95 / Tu-142 Bear

Mike Pearson's Sukhoi Su-15 Flagon

Mike Pearson's Sukhoi Su-24 Fencer

Mike Pearson's Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger

The moment Mike announced his Century Fighters Series I knew I wanted to have them fly together. At least ones they had a party in reality... smile.gif

I have not yet made the shots I have in mind, but the start is okay.

Mike Pearson's The Flight of the Century Fighters

And these I had on my mind for quiet some time:

Kevin Reed's Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk

Cheers,
Martin

Nice to see what's happening in the AI world, thanks Martin.
I downloaded the Argosy but haven't managed to get to it, I had an ambition to park it at Omaka and get it to rev the engines once a month smile.gif
Bit surprised at the propdisk in your shots though, seems they need a bit of work?

M Pearson is a machine... hadn't seen the Century series.
He must be on this virtually full time.

Thanks, Ian and Charl.

Yes, John's props are one of these unsolved computer mysteries. He is basically always doing creating them the same way. On my computer half of them - e.g. the Lancaster - look 120% perfect like everything else John is doing. The other half looks like this here. I normally fix them by playing with the alpha channel and the prop rotation value, but had no time this time.

But I promise some shots with overworked props smile.gif

Mike has finished his Century period, some late fallouts still on the way. Also one special B-52 package with several hellish fast attachments - I trust that they will be usable detached as well.... winkyy.gif
His current focus is on "Mother Russia".
Cheers,
Martin

Back in from another mission at Wigram, I stopped into Pacific Simulations, Sean mentioned Mikes two aircraft a week, he showed me some brilliant pics from his A4 simpit ... that is equally special in formation with the Bear cool.gif

I do wonder what you were thinking Martin .. Fencers over Hawaii ... nice strike - red stars rather red roundels smile.gif

You caught me here, Ian smile.gif

I was in a hurry and just needed "somewhere beautiful". Although this is not Hawaii, but one of the Canary Islands.
Cheers,
Martin
