Well lets hope these new Texan/Harvard aircraft may lead into something in the future after all I'm sure Australian aircraft industry would love to sell some Hawks to the RNZAF ... wishful thinking .

Exploring a partially functional Tu-144 in Kazan. Features include a tour of the exterior (including walking along on top of the plane), cabin, and cockpit. Also includes video of the tilting nose in action, as well as the canards (including an extreme close-up of the canards in action).

Pretty site after missing them for many years, maybe with the Hawks in Wanaka may show a reverse and regroup , the Texan2 is a good beginning and the re-activation of a RNZAF squadron to suit

Well check them out, early A4D-2N/A4C - 148581 makes it from the fifth batch converted to a A4L - that old nose, Draken got a real bargin with the our A4s
