They were quiet on that after some mention, again still recall the "Test Pilot" show, I do wonder if they have the foresight and maybe look into the model, I have not followed up on it for a good month back, course you knew Steve Moore was in the show and went upstairs as a back-seater , be nice to get more detailed info .

Yes , that series was awesome ... and being able to fly with him a few years later was really special . I had an offline (almost fight) with some pratt who told i was dreaming , when i recalled that trip.
He told me an TA-4 with full fuel would never get out of "wigrum" (there's a clue dry.gif ) I refered him to Steve with date and time .... no reply .... git.
And now that same old darling is sitting out at Wigram , having had my skinny butt firmly stuck to her back seat ..... many moons ago , not that makes her special (just to me)
Re the fuel .... i cant recall , but we had enough for Wigs to clyde ... touch and go at Timaru and aeros over lake ellesmere .... when the big red light came on .... a beat up of wigs and down.

I saw Skyhawks fly out off Wigram many times and obviously with enough fuel to return to Ohakea , one last pass shot up to 10,000 in a vertical, leveled out and did the same return the North Island .

I checked to find out more about the T5 but appears to be sitting idle at the mo .
