Tupolev Tu-22 "Blinder" - Alphasim/Virtavia

The missing link in between them is the Tu-16 "Badger" which exists as an FS2004 aircraft by what is now Virtavia (formerly Alphasim).
The precursor to the Tu-4 was arguably the TB-3 of WWII (though a few other Soviet heavy bomber types existed), and the follow on to the Tu-22 "Blinder" was the Tu-22M "Backfire" which operates today alongside the Tu-95 "Bear", Tu-142 "Bear"(Naval aviation), and Tu-160 "Blackjack".
