Not likely here either, been cloud and drizzle for the last ten days, a pity, more amazing a regular daily fact was how close the moon was 200,000,000 years ago, just over three times the diameter of the earth at 26,620 miles away, now that would have been a sight.

I'm going to have a peek at the Red Moon tonight with my zillion-optical-times magnification, Refracting Telescope, mounted on a tripod.

It may be cold outside tonight...so I wont stop out there for long... winkyy.gif ...!

It would be fun if someone waved back!

Paul....fascinated by "Heavenly Bodies"...(Blonde or Brunette).... winkyy.gif ...!

If anyone was going to wave back....

..it would be the poor-old 1969 cameraman who was ordered to stay behind and film the final blast-off from the moon surface.

That poor sod has been there ever since, waiting for someone to rescue him, and his radiation-damaged 8mm film!*

(He's running out of Beefburgers and Espresso Coffee)..

That is one hell of a photo cool.gif , 11.00pm last night the sky opened up a little there was the moon ... mind you with my camera skills the photo would have been as blurry as heck.
