By the way Terry, it's not a 737-300 (by it's looks) but a NGX 737 (model by PMDG) winkyy.gif

PMDG produce the NG - X Next Generation , outward looking there is little or no difference between 300 New Generation in the mid 1980s, you can have winglets installed on all variants after a slight retrofit , the Classic 200 was different with a lower gear structure and wing flap construction and slat operation, very similar but modified to suit the new squat turbofan design in 85, engine comp's bolted to the side giving the oval and flat ground shape, other than the tail fillet also added to the classic 737 .. from the 1964 design to well into the late 1980s this is were the 737 made its name ...

More Classic BS from the Wing Commander, please ignore him. The question has nothing to do with the bloody 200 series anyway Ian, just leave it out mate !!!

Anyway, re the NG identification, by far the easiest way to tell them apart from the 300-500 series is that the Pitot tubes on the NG are forward of the cockpit windows, whereas on the Classic 300-500 they're beneath the rear cockpit window. You can see them on Phil's Air Vanuatu shot above. Nice screens by the way Phil thumbup1.gif

Hi Terry,
its actually the PMDG 737-700 series, but by selecting it with the eyebrow windows and no winglets, its the closest to the 300 looking on the outside.
I used to have the Wilco 300, but feel that it has aged now.
I am hanging out for a good 300 and I think the Quality Wings one will fit the bill perfectly.
Cheers
