Always the window seat , you get to know the 'Colour of the country' , I did it in a DC-3 - PAX in and Front seat back, really fun , all previous was road transport ... now amazing to see the lights snake through the Mckenzie country cool.gif

Many years ago West Coast Airways flew the West Coast and here we are passing Franz Joseph glacier on a flight from Haast to Hokitika very much as it would have been back in the 1950s

Well , i thought it was interesting obviously you didn't ....whatever ... there were only two entries , trolly pulled out because his pic was too small , so the other won .
At the time (250 pages ago) Trolly decided to drop the comp idea due to lack of interest .... good thing it was regained .

We have a lot to thank Trolly for ..... this(forum) was his baby , and here we are today .... Trolly cheers1.gif

10 in 3 is pretty good Ian . People need to look at what else is being posted .... compare , improve ..... I Myself tend to look at the later posts , these have had some thought put into them .... not saying the first ones are no good , because i have voted for first posts in the past.(Check this months banner)
We have a whole month to submit something , so whats the rush ?

Very true, SP, but I like to get in first so no-one can hijack my theme.
Not that it matters - the comp is good fun, and I feel very smug when someone else builds on my idea.

8 years went by fast! Might as well throw my hat in the ring again to commemorate the occasion.

Eagle 876 having just broken visual on the ILS into NZCH after a sector over the rocks from Hokitika. (FSX, Carenado B1900, Ian's photoreal Christchurch)
