Throttle problems with FSX & Saitek X52 Pro.

This is not a new problem I have found it would seem and there is some info on the internet about it. If I start at the end of the runway at idle in the KBT Orion's or FSX Caravan or the Beech King Air and I don't quickly apply the brakes I start creeping forward gaining pace.
The fixes are many and varied and not all seem to find favour. I did pick up if you hit F1 it will decrease the throttle and the aircraft will stop. On looking in the cockpit when F1 is hit the throttles do move back a fraction. This is all very well
but when taxing the throttle ( Saitek X52 Pro) is so sensitive that a mere nudge results in having to apply braking to regulate taxi speed. Its like the taxiway has no surface friction for these models. Can anyone advise me on what to do, please. Yes I have done a calibration on my controller.

Tho I have not upgraded to PETE DOWSON - FSUIPC latest , then to map the controller, I have rudder pedals and other devices making it easier, .. maybe the best solution is program the brake to the trigger and keyboard "." as parking break.

Just thought I would post to say I fixed the problem with the throttle in idle myself. Lucky I kept a copy of the FSX settings. On looking through them seems I had lost my 'Realism' settings so I restored them and all is well, cheers. As for taxi speed problems I find shutting down outboard engines on the Orion helps a lot.

That was a regular thing they did on Viscounts, taxing into Christchurch in the late 60s early 70s but the inboards... gives your the real look of the period, but for the real feel, maybe a Saitek throttle quadrant maybe the solution, a joystick with all and with throttle might help and they are cheap.
