Yes .... bit of a shame , 25 screens and 40 votes. The winner , won well (great screen) , but there were some really good runners up that got could have made the chase a little more exciting had there been more votes.
The voter apathy is a concern ..... 25 members take the time to enter .... assuming they all vote , that left 15 others to vote ....15!!

nor is it meant to detract from this months winner , as i said , well won ...... but come on , support the comp . If your not comfy screening , then vote ... its not hard to click a little button and there are some great artists here who would enjoy your support.

Edit , mods you can move this somewhere else if you want ... i think it is detracting from Roelio's win, sorry.

True ..... i posted some FS9! non edit screens tonight in the hope that it would spur people on (you dont need to edit , or need a super computer) to pop out a half good shot (my opinion) , but as Mike said , how can we increase the vote ? I suppose if just one person voted , we would still have a winner... but then whats the point ?
But when you look at the stats (last comp) 25 screens , 40 vote's , and as i said, if each entrant voted .... that left 15 members , and almost 50% of them voted for the winning shot (which is great)
Its odd , I dont enter for the prize , Ive given away more than Ive taken .... and would do the same with the banner (but Big D said no) which is right , it would be an insult to those who voted for you.
This really interests me .... the psyche of the screenshot voter. It would be interesting to run a poll .... "what do you vote for, , and why" ? WHY being the main point.

All good Doug , you never know how people will vote .... i wont lose any sleep over it. Nice to see some of the newer , younger members starting to get a vote .... just keep slugging away at it, and maybe .. just maybe you will attract the masses.

I would like to say that , it would be nice for comp winners to at least acknowledge the fact that people took the time to vote for you .... or am i just old school

Hopefully I will get 2 votes next time tho, let the voting at June decide that one.

Well, for my shot at the Dec 2013 comp, I had 2 votes, the most amount of votes I had atm.
