What Have We Been Flying Lately?

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby SeanTK » Thu May 08, 2014 3:59 pm

Just a question out of curiosity:

What types of aircraft have the members here been flying lately (perhaps within the past couple of months)?

My latest preferred aircraft:

Tupolev Tu-144 [Konstantinov freeware]
Avro RJ / BAe 146 [Qualitywings]
Schweizer 300CBi [JustFlight]
Cessna 152 [Carenado]

Actually Sean, two d/loads of the 144 and both seemed to have fail and be trying to install it over the last couple nights ... that bloody Russian jibber jibber , on the norm I'm pretty good at installing, looking at its a corrupt d/load .

Carenado Cessna 182

Not a fan of rinky dinks but its a great way to get around an airport whilst I am re-building my AI traffic and I am really liking this model clapping.gif

Low wing - Carenado F33A
High wing - Carenado Stationair 206
Rotor - Alabeo R66
Old School - A2A P51D Accu-Sim
Passenger - Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended

Keen to get some older aircraft in the hanger. Already have the Catalina which is awesome, and the A2A Piper Cub. Any other suggestions? Something that isn't too big but requires a lot of engine management.

Mine are easy:

In my simpit: TA-4k (flight model which is going into Nije's TA-4k..)
At work: Jetsream 737-800 Advanced Flight Model
At my Desktop: CaptainSim 707-320ADV "Omega Tanker"

And month to month the only one which changes is the last one... Last month it was the TDS 737-800 and PSS 757 smile.gif

Just easing back into it after a long break ... flirted with the AirbusX Extended but naaaaah, seem to be settling down on the PMDG NGX and the Realair Turbine Duke, and toying with the idea of having a look the F1 B200.

Rick Pipers HS748
Milton Shupes FSX Dash 7
Wings of Power P40 (11th US Army Airforce, Aleutian Campaign colour scheme)

And having just installed FTX Vector over Global I have been simming in the boondocks (Aleutian Islands) to see if there is a significant improvement, and there is. Time to drag out the L-188 from KBT and do the Reeve thing.

Lawrie I'm not familiar with the Miguel Garnica F27. How does it compare to the Mike Stone model? Is the panel ok or do you use Fraser's panel?
