Cheers, mate, glad you got it sorted.

Searching on the CBFS forum for the 748 in FSX, I found some threads that show some people will have have issues with semi-transparent external textures, when flying at night, with the lights on. This was mentioned in relation to the latest version of Fraser's panel, where it was made clear that the lighting issue is "built-in" to the model, which was originally for FS2002, and the only 'fix' is not to fly with the lights on.
