Its always fun to join your Mates on Multiplayer!.... ...!

..Sean and I often used to participate in the past (in Multiplayer!), using the simple FS Host Servers, but Ian's new-fangled NZ Server, with Teamspeak, beats me!....

...and the wildly different Time Zones doesn't help much either!... ...!

The FS Host NZ Server: INSpire 203.114.130.15..... for the NZ Multiplayer flights...seems to be lost without trace!

Come on Fozz , get over it "and the wildly different Time Zones doesn't help much either" its only 23 or so hours difference , what else would you be doing on those warm english summer nights ... (dont tell me )
Im just as bad ... Doug keeps digging at me to get TS up and going .... which i shall .

Your timing is a little out Marty its only about 12 hrs difference and as for TS "which I shall" OK this year next year sometime or is it never

Whenever I look at The NZ time zones on my desktop, its always; "sometime TOMORROW!".... ..... ....!

It constantly displays the time of all my regular Chums around the World, at the bottom of my Browser....

My time, US East Coast time, Central time, Mountain Time, Pacific Time, and NZ time.

Worth its weight in gold for Multiplayer Sessions...so I know who is still in bed, and who is not!

Well worth installing for all those confused about Time Zones!..... ...!

I count backwards for my US Chums, and forward for my NZ Chums.....I mostly stay where I am... .... !

...and as for "Teamspeak".... ....

My biggest dread is that some of my US Multiplayer Chums will be communicating with me using; "Red-neck Speak", whilst I am using my; "Posh English Speak".....!

I couldn't cope with that.... ...!

The cosy; "Chat Window", is multi-national...including comical spelling mistakes!!.... ...!

It was very enjoyable! Also, it's much easier to understand Ian via voice rather than his forum posts.

Paul, we'll have to organize a multiplayer flight catering to your timezone sometime in the near future.

Also, the accents aren't a big deal. Once you start talking to someone with a different one, everyone tends to merge a bit into a somewhat middle-ground accent of the group anyway. I know there's a word for it following a study that proved that, but I can't seem to find it.

The only thing that trips up Americans is the slang, and as soon as we figure it out, we usually steal it for our own use. I hear "no worries" almost every day now, as well as a few other terms which come from all over the world. One word that will still confuse us though is "cheers". We don't know how to react. We use "thanks", with a procedural "your welcome" or similar coming from the receiving party. If you use "cheers" as thanks, we're usually too busy figuring out how to respond to even say anything.

Have little story about world "Cheers" , mate off mine is from the Czech republic , with his accent and understanding of Ianglish when first arrived in country, he could not understand why every said "Cheese" or least that is what he thought we said it .

Johnny told us after arriving he for a tour and was stopped by a road crew traffic controller, after given the go ahead he looked up the chap and said "Cheese" apparently the look on his face was to die for .. huh ......
