Epic!
A leisurely Sunday morning scroll over a cuppa, great stuff.
I do like the Fedex colours on the MD11, a long-time favourite.
Great position you had to get one of the best rear 3/4 shots I've seen.
Look how early it pops the reversers!

Thoroughly enjoyed all the rest too, your pan rate nicely kept track in the fading light conditions.
Thanks for this post.

Thanks Alister - yeah low light for me I find hard - i know the ISO was probably a bit high in some of those but it was either that or slow she shutter speed and get blurry shots

Thanks Charl - I especially took those gear shots for you too! and yeah the MD11 and 787 were a great Sunday afternoon bonus! re the angle the Air NZ Staff car park Is the best place to take shots as far as I know in AKL, just as long as you have roof racks on your car you can stand on!

I will also post the shots I got from Wellington too later

Nice shots. The black looks good on the B1900 but it is just too much on the larger types (777 and 787)...especially with the white or gray engine cowls.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Great collection- particularly like the three holer set at the beginning. I always hear the Fed Ex pilots on the radio, pretty distinctive southern American accents!

So is the black tail going to be the normal livery, or that fern one?
