One of the first flight sim games I ever had was way back in the early 90's, Micropose Software's (No defunct) Harrier Jump jet

Great fun threading the valleys around there, but I normally use something slower...should be able to set up something like the Mach Loop in Wales smile.gif

Cool. Especially the 2nd shot.... lucky to catch one of these noisey buggers (especially in a hover) at the Air Expo in '92(?)

Auckland .. they are quiet compared to the fast movers .. most striking would be the F-16 but so many , but you are right in the fact rather whizzzz past these buggers sit in your face ... that is impressive .. then to turn - point the nose up and GO !

Yeah I have to say a F 18 is noisier but in a hover the Harrier is very loud. Never seen or heard a F 16 unfortunately. Apparently the F 35 is somewhat louder than any of the above.

I think the big difference with the Harrier , when in hover the thrust and the sound is stationary and course when they turn a point there nose their nose up .... a 100/150 foot high in hoover yep a very different type of noise .

Really nice screens of a model I really hate winkyy.gif My system, and therefor me, hate Wilco products. Aside from the E-jets V2 they mess up my FSX. I love the harrier, so I was really disappointed when this model screwed up my FSX, so I picked up the RAZBAM GR-7/9 in a sale at Just Flight. And good god is that one beautiful! It even comes with a VC-10 tanker AI plane that you can spawn! (Much like AIcarriers) So no more Wilco for me (although their upcoming Falcon and P2006 look tempting)

Thanks for the offer! But I don't think I need it. The flightschool I'm in has two P2006's so I can easily obtain all the documents of the aircraft. All manuals and procedures of all aircraft in the fleet are available for us to use. Even if you don't fly it. And next year I'll begin training in it myself winkyy.gif
