Cool cool.gif , spoke to a chap who visited that region, they then were still using the ole Ily14 Crate ... De-icing was done this way ... least a half a foot off snow on the wings , taxi at high speed down the runway coming to the near end put the brakes on and the snow was literary jettisoned off the wings turned into the wind and took off !

Sean you must just about be conversant with the cyrillic alphabet by now!
How do you get on with the Russian charts?
