I spent quite a few hours working on them as well, doing the vip kits and avionic upgrades... in fact did a couple of long 20 hour shifts on one to get her out on time...more stamina in those days...

I was in there 1981/82 NZ1727 , component manufacture for the VIP fixtures panels and mountings , really hated machining that grade aluminum , I do recall the engineering ANZ base make a cook up with the grades ... whiles machining it , I thought Ooo this is nice ... they then returned with the horrid stuff .Last edited by Ian Warren on Wed Aug 20, 2014 11:32 am, edited 1 time in total.
