Happy Father's Day to all you ... well... Fathers

Have just gotten out of the sack, breaky in bed, a glass of bubbles even, and now making what I plan to be my only NZFF appearance for the day (ok, so I'll prolly struggle with that commitment). Hope all you dads have a great day, weather looks awesome from top to bottom in NZ today, except over in the Chathams where they are expecting some cloud and isolated showers. We're heading over to Cambridge to the new Avanti Home of Cycling Veledrome to watch some cyclocross racing in a makeshift outdoors track setup for the day. Better get out of my tights I guess smile.gif

Oh, and don't forget to ring your Dads if they're still right side up thumbup1.gif and if they're not I know you'll be thinking of them already.

Ian, this club will eat into your simming time, would you really want that? tongue.gif
My kiddies gave me a box of chocolates and a nice new set of stereo headphones for Father's Day. Happy father's day to all the other dads out there!

The biggest kick for me is seeing my son with his own kids. Grandchildren are a lot easier than your own...

Yeah a great day. Mid week forecasting completely wrong yet again.
Started the day with the "kids" shouting me breakfast at the Art Cafe in Helensville where my youngest daughter works part time on the weekends.
Then the young worker is taking me out to catch a movie after she finishes work.
Presents I can do without...it's having time with them that is most precious. Yikes, old persons words! sad.gif

Happy Fathers day Dads. You to Ian, the NZFF father.

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

All my kids (if you can call 50 year olds that...?) are off-shore, but one set of grand-kids called, (both taller than me now) and left behind some Monteiths Black...no complaints
from me. winkyy.gif

Dad, can I have my pocket money?

P.S. I've now settled in for the ultimate Sunday afternoon -- I've been recording the Godfather movies on Four, and now I'm watching seven hours of greatness...

"Where have all the men gone?"
"They're all dead from vendettas."

Reminds me of the internet.

Sounds like all you dads had a good one smile.gif My fella is 14 now , but he wouldn't know me from a bar of soap ... thanks to exwifezilla , bit sad but thats life i guess ... maybe one day.
Anyway , i did the son thing and spent the morning up at the hospital with Dad ..... hes doing well. They should know more in the morning , after they poke a telescope thing where no man should have one poked.
I did get a gift of sorts ....from a pseudo son ...Pratt (the cat) deposited a deceased mouse on the sofa . He was so proud , so i thanked him , and buried it when he wasn't looking rolleyes.gif

Well, netballing grand-daughter played in the grand final yesty, and they won, something like 47-20 over a side that beat them once and ran them very close in the next encounter.
Her Mum rang me today to say there was a blob of extra pocket money in my account. biggrin.gif
And to cap it off, the All-Ireland Hurling Final is on live tonight at midnight...
