As you know, writing reviews ist the one side, but You need some pictures. In the process of writing may bee around 100.... 150 pictures are "fabricated" and often enough they have a short live and sometimes you need the space on the harddrive for other things...

Thes are some pictures from the DC-8 Verion 10 to 40, made by Justflight. I was not very satisfied with the cockpit... but you can fly it if you like the older ones.

DC-8-20 ONA on approach Honolulu Intl.

United DC-8-20 (?) United on aproach Las Vegas Mc Carren Intl.

Doulas DC-8-30 somewhere over California...

Douglas DC-8-30 (?) Air Jamaica, on Takeoff, Montego Bay Soungster Intl., Jamaica

dto. Departure from Kingston, Jamaica.

Departure from Mexico D.F. (Taxigate, one of my favorite sceneries)

DC-8-30 Cubana de aviacion underway to Havanna Jose Martí Intl., Cuba

DC-8-30 PAN AM somewhere over New Mexico.

dto.

... over the coast of southern California...

Eastern DC-8-30 over California

DC-8 ... I was trying to find the news paper clipping or any information , the time slot around 1978-1982 , a DC-8 coming in so low over Paraparumu .. some accounts even recon they lost chimneys - guess with vortex and air pressure, which I would very much doubt ... one Wellington landing that I don't have any information on .

Meanwhile I have the DC-8 Series 50 to 70 from Just Flight in the inventory, but not installed and flown, because of other Obligations. Think after checkout at Moscow Sheremetjevo and Warshaw Chopin Intl. from Drzewiecki Design and ORBX Port Moresby I have time for the longer Variantas of the DC-8... The used scenerys are Megascenery California, Nevada and Hawaii, Taxigate Mexico D.F and Tropical Sim Kingston and Montego Bay, Jamaica.

As far as i know, Japan Airlines (JAL) has flown some time in the early 70s from Tokyo via Sheremetjevo to european destinations.... TODAY there is not much left. Maybee a run from Joannesburg, South Africa to Mayotte (A french territory at the Comores) in the Indian Ocean. A good representation of this place came from France VFR. THE big fleet of UPS, is gone in 2009..

Thanks for the run down and a little history of the use and visits, well back then the Iron Wall it was known ... most the aircraft, the cargo transports have gone third level .
