Oh, the pain of it all!

However, you might be surprised by just how many chooks there really are on the Coast ... a quick guesstimate puts the figure at approximately 100,000 (assuming 1:3 people have 4-6 chooks). The 1:3 ratio isn't all that far out, considering the rural nature of townships like Hokitika, Greymouth and Westport.

Interesting figures , over there I notice they all run around and almost pets. ... Cape Foulwind just seemed appropriate chicken .. I mean checking Westport out.
