Ian , your the man in charge , but, i was thinking .... if you blur the train a bit , that would save work , and make the aircraft look to be moving .... maybe .

Cheers matey , this one is not difficult , I just seemed to loose direction and how I approached it .. most off it was probably due to the STEP by STEP process .

That gets drawn in , no PC edit there .. that is added via pencil so as not to loose detail.

Thanks again Paul and you Marty, still alot to do the create the effect ... railway line 'track' detail is need, still a lot to do on the Choo Choo , P-47 is maybe 70% ... It will look extreme once its printed on SRA3 photo paper - this now gives me an honest base to get the details correct.

Ive read all the P-47 books , bar one ... which covers operations to get the detail/missions/sorties , I have here call the "The Mighty Eighth" by Roger Freeman , simply trying to get the information correct or as close as possible to what actually happened.

Marty stopped thru this morning and was able to see how this has progressed, this afternoon I concentrated on movement of the four directions -
the moving train , the steam , the explosions and base detailing the Thunderbolts, this is drawn on standard carton paper and with a photo you
do loose a lot off the detail, once happy again I then scan it again and edit it and clean areas up and now to print it on 300gsm card which is
smoother and give a better more defining result - two more process's to do before its complete, another drawing then it gos to photo SRA3
paper and laser printed, again it gets further editing - from here you will see a real change in contrast and it being more dynamic.

Now with the movement installed, the affects created, the canvas/paper requires another operation, to clean it up clean up and in words make the explosions
brighter using the computer and Abobe CS5.5 and also to bleach some areas cart wagon wheels for example .. Still have to add details to the train and further
ground details - track and mayhem ... now your starting to see the Rush off everything going on and the idea off a WWII THUNDERBOLT STRIKE. Off the best
attributes with PC is you can study the blast effects and add that little more to the finished drawing .

Thanks Marty, one off the thing pointed out last night was aircraft and the history, I wasn't until I could explain explicit details and the history behind each drawing Steve went and dug out a photo album showing some amazing personal aircraft and carrier photo's from the 1950s and 1960/70s - Fleet Air Arm, Royal Navy, hoping to borrow this album to scan and post the photo for everyone viewing - some amazing photos.
