Got bored, and decided i would have another go at repainting, so i got the paintkit for the now freeware IRIS Mig 29 and had a go, here are a couple of screens trying it out in a scheme inspired by the last clothes worn by the A4Ks of 75 Sqdn

Ian, im sure that even when they chose the 16's they could have got more 29's or su27s for the same money.... Im sure airshows would have been unreal, Migs on the deck at Warbirds over Wanaka

The Australians would have love us as the aggressor squadrons, maybe even the Americans could come over, charged to be the bad guy would have covered the costs ... you would have to westernise the cockpits .... but oh well as Graham Bethel said at the demise of the strike force "we have become the scabs of the pacific" .

Westernise the cockpits, no probs, one of the euro operators did that, lovely israeli radars and western avionics to make them compatible with the other euro air forces. I

Only thing is the Mig-29 support and short life of components have been an issue with other operators... in saying that I've always had a soft spot for Mig 29s
