Anyone catch the Orion on sunset this evening went zooming over the house approx 5.30pm.

Yea there was a bit of windshear on final due to a CB just on the northern edge of the Manukau harbor. A Qantas 737 went around in front of us due to it, but we landed ok.

I like that DC-3 towering over the lighties .. look at it that way.. a DC-3 is practically the same size of a B-17 , actually stands higher, more proud
