Jay, be able to get up and close and personal with 318/9 series , have not posted the photos yet, been a little busy, maybe later today.

True .... not sure if youve been up close to one Doug , they are bloody huge .

Just up the road is McChord AFB with their wing of C17's. Not long after we moved here, they did one of their emergency evac things - all planes airborne and go somewhere safe. Right overhead at about two thousand feet came ten C17's - what a sight and no camera.

I'm still learning my camera , but that would have a site to see .. we get it here sometimes landing into Christchurch with one C-17 ... a regular go is a formation of LC-130s and that gets gob smacking.
