Yeah great channel aye, been following his vids for awhile now. Seems to really know his stuff procedure wise.
He's done a few vids this side of the Tasman too

Good friend in the US of A sent me this link, course being a Connie nutter, had to post it here, known Don now well over 12 years and love these aircraft, I better plan a drawing - something to reflect the US Navy's use during the period these type operated in and out in Christchurch with 'Operation Deep Freeze'

Well worth the watch again, one thing pointed out being as authentic as possible, there are a few things have been changed due to regulations in the safety and thought to the pilot/pilots which today is typical with today's looking after following the strict rules.

That was a great little doco, the reason the DC-3 crashed was because it was so embarrassed sounding like that, ... you have to give credit to an engineering team like that , mind you couple of LC-130s did the same in Antarctica, one was buried in the ice for well over a decade , USN Snowbees dug it out and flew it back to Christchurch were it went through an intensive fix up and repair but biggest thing they found , the Ice looked after everything very well.
