It is amazing how, well seems how little time you have, I still constantly look for work, .. I'm always up super early, again strange, had I have to go it or that did happen but now you me start looking at time in such a different way, 5/6 years back it was run and rush..... strange you don't mind going out walking and looking.

Bob Seger, now that is a Bobby that I really do like, his music, songs, an artist and songs that almost meet the scratch and style with the Eagles , last night I hooked into drawing, pun - could not draw myself away from my next subject , I play an album which I got in the late 80s "Reilly, Ace of Spies" .. London Orchestra music but if Bob Seger come to town, I'd be there!

While we're on the subject of old musicians, the Free Dictionary informs me that today is Chuck Berry's birthday. He's 88 and still going strong. Apparently he still performs one night a month.

Chuck Berry was the very first concert I went to. My brother took me, it was at the Christchurch Town Hall (the old one) but I have no idea what year. It was a great concert:)

No worries, it was my flatmate's fault I got a bout of the maudlins. She's going through that at the moment, mainly because she's been losing consciousness while driving, and is kinda booked up with medical tests now.

She's been working on her family history, and last week she asked me what would be the easiest way to get all her stuff off the computer to her children in case of her demise. I went through the options -- Cloud (huh!?), or some sort of portable drive, mainly. I checked to see how much data was involved, and it turned out to be about 20GB. On Friday I saw an ad for a 32GB thumbdrive from Warehouse Stationery, for $19.90, so I grabbed her credit card and ordered a couple -- one for each daughter. No doubt I'll be coming up with some sort of backup plan this week.

Luckily she's been away all weekend, so I've had a bit of a break, and now back to my usual sunny self.
