Well the Tecnam 2006T is a very light 2-Engine-Touring-Aircraft, with two Rotax 912-Engines. It is a sleek and unique design, made in Italy...

Be very interesting to see if the local aero clubs start looking at this for their twin engine training , it may have more appeal then.

Looks very interesting, and a little tempting. I have their Harrier and am happy with that but some others didn't impress me so much but the quality of this looks spot on. thumbup1.gif

There's a demo at the Wilco site.

I didn't really like it but I can't nail down what it was that didn't push my buttons...probably the VC and textures. In the clips it looks great. Andrew Underwood has done a review over at DailyX

The Problem with this Replica is the faulty Engine-Management. At this aircraft the control of the Cylinder Head Temperature is not working. I can all things do... The temperature remind to high and far outside the specifications. THE Rotax-Enginen is as far as i know not so a producer of heat as others. Her is the worm in it.

I fly with with the P2002JF (also equipped with the Rotax 912S) and that thing doesn't heat up at all. If I fly at 90kt TAS at 4000ft the CHT is almost at the bottom. I don't know how it is on other aircraft, but I can't decent too quickly without the carb heat on, otherwise I will damage it because it's too cold.

Meanwhile Version 1.3 is available and they wrote, the have fixed it... with a lot of other modifikations. Good! In the past Wilco was one of those comnpanies, not doing enought for the published Aircraft.
