Yea and we get to fly the 777 there. Bit of a raw stick for us really. They should have been limited to the 777 too

It's a 777 during winter and a 380 during summer from what I recall

You're right, Air New Zealand should be flying something bigger than a 777 there... unsure.gif

One hop? Sure would be cool - but I do suspect this is a little beyond even what SAL can achieve?

That seriously still dose not look pretty, Its that nose that seems to be outta joint , now I wonder what Boeing have in the long term as the competitor.

Unsure entirely how this is a 'raw deal' for AirNZ? This is nothing but positive them.
I would imagine Boeing wouldn't touch the A380 market with a 10 foot barge pole, why would they?

Hmm be interesting to really see what is planned .. the company is not off the ole days off the WOWs .. 747 800s be nice to see them in the Air New Zealand fleet.
