Marty , were where you on the day 1973 when they flew this scheme but original C-5A over Christchurch and typical of the USAF and for an 11 year old me was awe inspiring cool.gif

There was an open day at Harewood as I recall.
BTW nice shot.

Yes indeedo .. and funny I was talking to Marty just simply how blocked we were the other other weekend by compare to the 1973 ... Twas wide open spaces ... Crikey couple weeks back was .. Tickets .. need your tickets .. ar the changes. rolleyes.gif

It was amazing some off the proposals with the LFX program, even the Douglas aircraft was impressive, least the mockup.
