Last nights dinner was Rainbow trout, simply mix/beat three eggs, dice an onion and slowly simmer 100* for 45 minutes .. Delis

Tonight on the menu is Brown trout, this time the fish steak/fillet is simply washed and place into a dish, going to the same rule as above for cooking but no egg and tinfoil over the top with a diced onion but now covered . nice thing with the dish is a fresh bundle of aspragrass and lemon.

What are Neighbours for ... I did not even have to fish or hook em .... YUMMY!

That sounds wonderful, Ian!.... clapping.gif ...!

I must admit, even though I cook amazing meals for myself, every day of the week, involving various meats, I am rarely brave enough to prepare and cook a "whole fish" meal!

I see them displayed at the fresh fish counter, covered in ice, at my local Supermarket, but I am never quite sure how to prepare them for cooking in my gas oven!

...so I revert to breaded Fish Cakes, with parsley sauce, mashed potatoes, and garden peas....the easy way out!.... sad.gif ...!

Today's dins was Steak Pie, boiled potatoes, loads of different vegetables, and a gravy to die for!...now that was really nice!.... biggrin.gif ...!

Tomorrows dins will be yet another surprise in waiting!

Paul....fishing for recipes... winkyy.gif ....!
