Hey lads. Pretty sure most know about the JustFlight sale on now but not sure anyone has pointed out a couple of nice deals in the mix. One I picked up on the weekend was the "Battle of Britain - 70th Anniversary" pack which includes variations of the Spitfire, Me109 and Hurricane. The Spitty and Me109 are pretty average now compared to the other offerings that I know a lot of you guys have from the likes of A2A and Flight Replicas etc, but as far as I know the options for the Hurricane are slim pickings.

I've always loved the look of the Hurricane, not sure why, probably coz my dad used to sketch it for us a lot when we were kids, was sort of his party trick. This is why I grabbed this pack as the 3-pack is actually cheaper than the on-sale Hurricane on its own. The VC still looks pretty decent considering how long ago this was released, the exterior and textures look good to my less-than-experienced WWII eye, the sound-pack is ok but showing its age a little I think (could easily slap in a Merlin sound pack alias from another offering)

The BoB pack is on sale for $12us at present direct from JustFlight, check it out...

I have a great photo in the Hurricane manual with the sun at the right angle it give almost the same impression, the early Hurricane had both the main-wing and tail wing fabric later models this change to only have fabric elevators smile.gif
