Marty - are you familiar with the ancient Scottish pagan custom of "first-footing" ?
If your first visitor of the new year is a dark, handsome man, bringing a lump of coal, for which you exchange a lump of Black Bun, you should have good luck for the next twelvemonth. No guarantees, but.
So I made use of the latest technology to first-foot all the overseas family simultaneously, by posting at one second to midnight on Facebook, a pic of my foot...

...for us lot, up here in the Northern Hemisphere, its Winter-time and generally very cold....
Whereas for you lot down in the Southern Hemisphere, its Summer-time, very hot, and Wildfire season....
...otherwise, 2015 is already very much like it was in 2014...
Nuffin' much changes...we just get poorer!
