Just went to Rob Richardsons website for an update on his WIP DH Venom NF2 to find he has updated ALL of his airplanes for FSX STEAM edition only. I have been a big fan of his work for a long time, and now to see because i dont have the steam verson of FSX i wont be able to get any new works, I am most gutted

I think you will find that they work in both FSX as well as FSX Steam

Indeed, the steam version and the regular version are no different (Apart from the slight update Dovetail did). The only difference is the install directory, everything else is exactly the same...

Ive seen these panic's across other forums, I brought the Dovetail/Steam FSX but not installed , this is a backup, many people buying are NEW to FSX only cos it was five bucks seem to have no problems installing because they have gone thru beta/SP1/SP2 stages installing various products or freewares ... early days off FSX ... all FS9 scenery worked !

I just installed a couple of the aeroplanes off that site with no big dramas. The Sea Venom has some night texture issues but is fine during the day.
