Dino's F-14 over SOCAL

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

After Marty's plea for more screen shots I felt I should make a little more effort so took the F-14 out for a quick burn over photoreal Southern Clalifornia. Great Stuff - did a big burn with full after burner down low and then climbed up a bit higher and slowed down to take a look round a wider area. Almost immediately after this shot everything closed down. I forgot that this bird sucks through the gas on sustained after burner flight . . . . . . the Wing Commander Ian would not be amused at the loss of the aircraft.

Maybe I should do a panorama inside this one too.

I'm guessing this is a garbled quote from Top Gun. You're spending way too much time watching and reliving these old movies Ian. An oldie but still a goodie in my opinion.

Like the old-fashioned blotting paper we used to use! On the other hand, I've seen your mind soaking up beer rather then sayings - but maybe it's just that you do the mental stuff in private and the drinking more in public with your mates! cheers1.gif
