Impressive shutlines on that nose eh? it quite disappeared as an opening.

Watching all that - questions, questions:
Why do they back in, if it's a roll-on/roll-off?
Getting the pitot covers off with a long pole is fine, how do you attach them in the first place? laugh.gif
Why did it leave with all its doors open??

No matter, enjoyed the clip, thanks for posting it.

Good questions Charl ... re the backing in , it may have something to do with the height of the opening , maybe a little more room going through the front rather than under the tail.
As for the rest ... i could only guess , but i would love to see the pitot covers being put on winkyy.gif

I agree getting something in that long would be easier to do without any turns as you would get from the back.

Possibly it was left overnight or for a long period so they put them on with the nose down. You can see when they enter the cockpit it looks like the nose is down.

I'm assuming you mean when it's being towed? Those 3 guys doing the walking could be part of the crew so they need a way to get back inside, similar to how the RNZAF do it with the Hercules. Or it could be hot down there and they want some airflow to go through it.

Its all weight displacement and load on strengths , they designed to load the super heavy and over sized weights front first and balance , rear load more for the container/pallet slip type, same with Lockheed's C-5.

It's even funnier if you've been to England and sat in traffic..... yep I have. I think the Birmingham ring road was specifically designed so people couldn't get away.
