Yeah thanks Ian, I have very little success with the search function myself. Sometimes it goes way back and sometimes only 2-3 results. I mean we can all live with progress, and the new platform seems great and easy to use. :-).

Just have a difficulty with the searching the past... maybe best to just handle it.

Bring on the future.

Cheers

I simply put in ANZACS .. after all it is our year and it simply will not show up ... very sure it will be fixed in the short future :)

Hey Sonny, I believe the thread your looking for is here...
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=21772

The search defaults to "all terms entered" instead of "any terms entered". If you click on Advanced search and choose "any" you may have more luck. Definately something up with search in general though. All the old posts are still there. What I did to find the above was search at google, work out the date of the post based on that, then browsed to that date in the forum

Attaching to this thread with the following question. I've read that an update to the 'Texan II driver' is available on each purchasers' IRIS account. Mine seems to be missing or I can't see it. I've queried their support but nothing yet.

Following my purchases of my Iris aircraft, they are all gone tho I have backups of the A10/Vulcan and not needed now Tomcat, almost looks they have wiped the history, I even had to re-register

The good news is I got it finally. The doubtful news is it's not identified, in your account, as different from the original (it should be 498 mb where the original was 453) so keep your fingers crossed 'til the .exe opens and it identifies itself as V1.0.

That is good news for the early payers of the T-6 , I checked my account at Iris and shows only the, my latest , think in the transition to their new site went into La La land mode.

Like I said compare file size. If it shows 493 mb you should have a winner. If it says V1.0 on the installer opening page, you're good.

Thanks for the HU Dave, be interesting to see what else has been added, would be great if they show a version number but is a certain change in size sine last d/load, guess its the only way to track the file is by size.

Tried to download the Texan T-6 update Friday and again this afternoon.

From Iris this afternoon re Texan T-6 update

The Texan Driver installers are all finished and uploaded to the server ready for release.

As much as we would have liked to have the product on sale for the weekend, we're going to give it a few days in the hands of the Early Access customers and QA team before pressing the button in the store just to make sure no last minute issues are found.

All going well, the Texan Driver will be released in the next few days.

Did a fresh download - what's this .bat file included with the .exe? Tried both your suggestions for the configurator and clicked and wheel rolled on the HUD brightness - nothing. Clicking is heard when you roll but no visuals on the screen. The Iris forum is a laugh - nobody there other people like me with unanswered questions.
