In the mood for a competition

Postby Splitpin » Sun Mar 01, 2015 5:34 pm

A space themed one , in honour of Mr Spock i think.
The prize will be a 7 dvd pack of the original Comos series , hosted by Dr Carl Sagan . Its very dated now , but a classic , and hard to find.

So , first one in with the correct answers to 3 questions will receive the prize .
To be fair I'll post the questions at 2000hrs (8pm) NZ time as there only appears to be 3 online at the moment , and the "bot" cant enter <_<

See you at 2000 sharp :)

Marty, that is a great prize, 'Cosmos' was brilliant. I won't be in the running, since I was never a Trekkie, but if you need a tie-breaker question, I know a good one involving Mr Spock's mother and Port Stanley Airfield

Well, there are some vast unexplored regions in my old memory bank, so I might have a chance after all

Most of the day it seemed to be bumping along between 4 and 7; it was showing 15 just before I looked at the questions. Very disappointing, even allowing for the fact that the UK generally is not out of bed until 0830 local, never mind 0700z
