New ZK-BER

Postby lowglow » Tue Mar 03, 2015 3:30 pm

last year the Omaka Real Flying Club's Tigermoth ZK-BER was damaged when hitting a fence, this required the replacement of the left lower wing spar among other things. After a long years restoration BER is finally back in the air dressed in a new paint scheme as it was when new in the RAAF colors

Nah I have only completed it last week as this is the new scheme only made public on the real BER recently. I hadn't even got around to putting the old scheme on any sites. I must get onto doing so as I have quite a list now of new paints I've done

I'll have to download this! Good memories of BER (in her old scheme) from my time in Blenheim in 2007:

Nice photos were they taken when they had the Tigermoth gathering at Omaka for a few days? I spent some time over there then.
